Motown & Beyond is a 7-piece Sydney-based band featuring an exceptional lineup of talent who bring to life your favourite soul, R&B, and funk classics.

The show celebrates music from the iconic Motown era (1959 to the present), including legends such as Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, The Four Tops, Eddie Floyd, Grover Washington, The Temptations, and James Brown. They also pay tribute to artists inspired by the Motown sound, including Eric Clapton, Sade, Bryan Ferry, Human Nature, Gloria Gaynor, Tina Turner, and Amy Winehouse.

Originally mixed to sound great on car radios in Detroit, Motown music is defined by its infectious backbeat, strong rhythm section, and vibrant brass—guaranteed to get you moving.

Motown & Beyond takes it further, delivering soulful, upbeat tunes and high-energy hits from across the decades.
