We’re thrilled to announce that Frankston Craft Club is heading to Mount Martha to launch our very first after-school art and craft program! 🎉
Mount Martha Makers is designed to inspire creativity, spark curiosity, and celebrate self-expression through hands-on art and craft activities. Each week, participants will explore new techniques, work with various mediums, and develop skills like creative thinking, problem-solving, and artistic confidence.
Here’s what we’ve got planned:
✨ Week 1: Paper Portraits & Zine Making
Kick off with some fun “get-to-know-you” activities centred around paper! Create unique paper portraits and collaborate on mini zines for our growing Zine Library.
✨ Week 2: Printmaking Magic
Learn three different printmaking techniques that are easy to replicate at home. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and unleash your inner printmaker!
✨ Week 3: Polymer Clay Creations
Shape, mold, and bake! Craft colorful and quirky polymer clay masterpieces to take home and cherish.
✨ Week 4: Wonderful Wool
Discover the magic of needle felting! Learn to create soft, whimsical designs with wool, from adorable animals to custom decorations.
✨ Week 5: Nature Creations
Celebrate the beauty of nature with two exciting projects: make your own kokedama (moss ball plants) and decorate beautiful bee bowls to attract pollinators and support your garden.
✨ Week 6: Paint & Sip – Your Favorite Character
Bring your favorite character to life on canvas! Enjoy a relaxing paint-and-sip session with juice and treats while creating art inspired by beloved characters from books, movies, or your imagination.
✨ Week 7: Fabulous Fabric Upcycling
Transform old clothes and fabric scraps into something entirely new! Learn fun upcycling techniques like patchwork, embellishments, and custom designs to give textiles a fresh life.

Celebrate the end of our creative journey with a fun-filled party! Make festive party hats, design colorful piñatas, and craft other exciting decorations to wrap up the program in style.
