Mental Health First Aid Refresher Training

Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training helps mobilise and empower adults in the workplace and community by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to another adult experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.

Refresher courses are 4 hour face-to-face courses that allow people who have previously completed a 12 or 14-hour Mental Health First Aid course to refresh their knowledge and skills. For people who are Accredited MHFAiders, the refresher courses offer an opportunity to extend their accreditation for a further 3 years.

The content of each refresher course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.

The Standard MHFA Refresher Course gives participants an opportunity to refresh the knowledge and skills learnt during the 12- hour Standard Mental Health First Aid Course.

Dates

This is 4 hour course and you will not be provided with the option to be accredited unless you complete the full 4 hours of training.

It is very important that you choose your training session carefully as we do not provide refunds and will not reschedule your session. You must attend both days and complete the MHFA short accreditation assessment successfully to become an accredited MHFAider.
