To support rural and regional Victorian organisations with the application process a series of information sessions are being delivered online and in-person for the 2024-25 Multicultural Festivals and Events (MFE) Program Round Two for supported activities between 1 January - 30 June 2025.
This session will be an in-person session held in Mildura. The location for the session will be held at Mildura Sporting Precinct (Level 1, 684 Deakin Avenue Mildura).
Funding is available through the Regional Multicultural Festivals and Events Fund (RMFEF) to support regional multicultural community organisations and the delivery of events across regional Victoria.
The MFE Program prioritises rural and regional organisations by offering reduced application requirements and this session will provide guided assistance to these community organisations.
This session will cover:
• Program overview (including key dates, program objectives, funding priorities, funded activities and supported costs)
• Application process (including organisation eligibility, eligibility criteria, application tips and the grants gateway portal application process will be discussed)
• Assessment process and successful recipient requirements.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the program.
Applications for the 2024-25 Multicultural Festivals and Events Program will open on 19 September and close Friday 25 October 2024 at 3 pm.
