Please join us for a fun filled storytime - Featuring the 2025 National Simultaneous Storytime children's book - The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel and illustrated by Danny Snell.
National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country. Now in its 24th successful year, it is a colourful, vibrant, fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy.
Important things to note:
• If you have booked a session and can no longer attend, please call to cancel so others are able to attend.
• Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children and must remain with children during the session.
By attending this event you consent for you, and any persons you are responsible for, being photographed and/or filmed and agree that the Mount Barker Council may use the resulting photographs and film for promotional purposes, including by publishing them in print and other media. Please see one of our event staff if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.
