About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours

Had enough of being at the effect of landscape extremes whilst trying to run a farming operation? Welcome to the future of your landscape. It’s a thriving, robust property that is operating so efficiently that whenever it rains it replenishes the ground water, plants grow for longer and are building a mulch layer that becomes a sponge on your paddocks to hold water and nutrients and release this slowly. Biodiversity is increasing, crop yields are up and your livestock are healthy and content.

If this sounds like a future you are out to step into, we invite you to join us for our May field day inWatervale, SA (Clare Valley). During the day, you'll get an introduction to how our landscape works and functions using the oldest, proven model by applying Natural Sequence Farming and its five pillars.

Our one-day event is designed to provide education and hands-on experience in Natural Sequence Farming, a proven method for improving soil health, biodiversity, and water retention. You'll learn to read the landscape and understand how it naturally functions, giving you valuable insights into how to work with it instead of against it.

You'll also get an introduction to the five pillars of Natural Sequence Farming, which include:

1. Slow The Flow

2. Let All Plants Grow

3. Careful Where The Animals Go

4. Filtration Is A Must Know

5. Return To The Top To Recycle The Lot

By the end of the day, you will have gained valuable knowledge and practical skills that you can implement on your land to improve its resilience and productivity. You will also be able to network with other like-minded individuals who are passionate about Natural Sequence Farming and regenerative agriculture.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn from our experienced team and gain valuable insights into Natural Sequence Farming.

Things you'll learn:• An introduction into what Natural Sequence Farming is all about• An overview of our five pillars to Natural Sequence Farming and some tips into how you can start implementing them on your landscape• A paddock walk to start learning about landscape function and what can be done.
