Silambam-Sydney, a premier institution of performing arts, founded by dancer - choreographer Aruna Gandhi, has been contributing for the last 15 years to the Australian arts sector by spreading the rich cultural heritage of India. From a humble beginning in 2009, we have grown to a much sought after institution in 2024!
On the occasion of our 15th anniversary this year, we're delighted to present 'Natyamritam' - the annual dance showcase by all the students of our institution!
At Silambam-Sydney, we offer training in the South-Indian classical dance style of Bharatanatyam. Located in South-west Sydney at Ingleburn, our classes are held at a school hall and students of all ages, ranging from age 6 to adults, and from beginners to advanced learners receive their training in the artform.
'Natyamritam' is our annual concert, where all the student groups progressing through various levels of training showcase their learning in short and crisp performances. And this year marks our 15th anniversary so we're looking forward to make it extra special!
We welcome you to join us in celebrating our milestone, and to enjoy a beautiful evening of music and dance.
