About this event

The 1st of July signifies the start of a new era in banking, with the introduction of the new stronger, enforceable, Banking Code of Practice.

The Australian Banking Association would like to invite you to a breakfast and panel discussion, to mark this important occasion.

The panel hosted by ABA CEO Anna Bligh will include Council of Small Business Organisations Australia CEO, Peter Strong; Financial Counselling Australia Chief Executive, Fiona Guthrie; Suncorp CEO Banking and Wealth, David Carter and CEO of CBA Matt Comyn.

The event is an opportunity to learn more about the new Banking Code including the increased protections for Australian bank customers. Information materials will be available at the event.
