In 2018 we decided to create a boat party to welcome the first sunrise of the year.
The idea had a great acceptance and the party was a success.
Since that year we never stopped. 6 years in a row. 6 sold outs.
Cruising around the magnificent Sydney Harbour celebrating the New Year while the sun starts to shine on the water is an experience hard to describe in words.
You need to be there. You need to feel it. You need to see it.

Sydney Harbour. Our vessels (Supercat & Aussie Legend) leave Darling Harbour at the event start time and cruises throughout Sydney Harbour for the whole event until close.

Our events are all 18+ with all RSA laws applied.
If you are late for this event, the boat cannot wait for you so please ensure you make a plan to get to the event 30 minutes prior to the start time, so you are ready when the boat arrives.
You will not be allowed on board without Proof of Age ID, please have this ready with you when you come.

Frequently asked questions
There is no dress code for this event. Though like any venue, please ensure you are wearing closed shoes. Open toed heels for girls is fine to wear.
You can purchase tickets at the door [Both with cash or card], so long as the event is not sold out.
Our refund policy is written in our terms and conditions, please ensure you read this upon purchasing your ticket. We do not offer refunds for our events, though we can assess reasonings on a case by case basis. If you would like to discuss a refund please email bookings@yeahbuoy.com.au
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our vessel, we do not cater for those who require wheelchair access.
There is no Wifi available onboard the vessel. However 3G or 4G will work just fine despite being out on the Harbour.
Yes. You may bring your own food onboard the vessel. If you are catering for a VIP group, we can happily place large items such as cakes or platters in our kitchen to keep this cool until you require it.
In general, our terms and conditions state that we do not provide refunds for any given circumstance. Nevertheless, with our refundable ticket add on option, you will be guaranteed a refund for your ticket for any reason. For example, change of mind, weather, illness etc.
