About this event

  1. Each ticket entitles the Hunting Group to one week hunting starting on 1pm Sunday and ending the following Sunday at 1pm.
  2. Dates are available from 13/4/2025 until 29/6/2025.
  3. Each ticket covers up to four hunters (only one ticket needs to be purchased per group).
  4. The cost of each ticket is $0 (free).
  5. Tooms Lake Conservation Area can be accessed by entering from the Lake Leake Road onto McKays Road for approximately 25 km. The main access point is west off McKays road.

  7. Following the close of ticket sales, the Hunting Group Leader will be emailed/mailed the Game Authority and associated materials prior to end of March 2025.
  8. Successful permit holders must comply with the conditions of the Game Authority and the Hydro Tasmania terms and conditions where relevant.
  9. To ensure hunter safety, all hunters on Parks and Wildlife Service and Hydro Tasmania managed land must wear some form of hi-visibility/blaze orange clothing (i.e. hat, vest) to be more identifiable to other hunting parties.
  10. Hunters must be able to produce the Game Authority on request by an Authorised Officer.
