Event price of $98.00 (GST incl.) for 2 day course on successive Saturdays 22 Feb/1 March includes course materials and take-home Older Person MHFA manual, light morning and afternoon refreshments. Participants to bring own lunches as well as water bottles for hydration.

Please arrive for Registration on Day 1 by 8:45 am. Course runs 9.00 am -4:15 pm each day for a total course time each day of 6 hours plus refreshment breaks. Parking on site.

Participants have the option of completing a short post-course assessment to be accredited as a Mental Health First Aider.

About the Presenter:

Through his business Worldview Consulting, Geoff Bowser delivers Standard, Older Person and Youth MHFA courses to organisations as well as holding a small number of public courses. He is also a Consultant Instructor Trainer for MHFA ( Aust). An experienced trainer he also worked in the school education sector for several decades with the majority of those years in school leadership.

Organized by

Geoff Bowser is an experienced educator, including almost 25 years service as a school Principal in urban, regional and rural locations. He is a Registered Clinical Psychologist, Member of the Australian Psychological Society and Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists. Geoff completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from James Cook University, Townsville. He has undertaken research on the well-being and mental health of Australian school teachers and leaders, examining the impact of perceived effort-reward imbalance and work/life conflict.

Previously based in the Blue Mountains (NSW), Geoff has been in private practice as a Psychologist in Hamilton in the NSW Hunter Region since 2015 but now offers Telehealth services Australia-wide.

Geoff delivers both public and private courses in Standard, Youth and Older Person Mental Health First Aid as well as being a consultant Instructor Trainer for MHFA ( Aust).
