Event Description

The Lived Experience of Suicide Support Group Program for Regional WA has been funded by the WA Mental Health Commission to address the postvention needs of people affected by Suicide.

The Grief Centre of WA will be facilitating the program online. All are welcome to register. A limit of 14 participants per program applies, so it is important that you register early to avoid disappointment. There is no age limit and this is a self-referral program, so you don't need a mental health care plan.

This program is an open group that runs on an 8-week rotating program. Each week will be themed. It is open to any person affected by suicide.


Who is this program for?

The Grief & Suicide Prevention Support Group program is for people who are affected by suicide - have lost a family member or friend to suicide, or have attempted suicide or may be contemplating suicide.

This is a peer support group, co-facilitated by the Grief Centre staff with a lived experience of suicide. It involves talk therapy and activities that will support the group to process their grief.

This is a FREE service. Registration is esssential.
