Join the Parliamentary Education Team for Legal Studies & the Legislature for Teachers live from the Parliament of NSW and discover teaching and learning resources for the Legal Studies Preliminary Course, Part 1: The legal system.
Strengthen your knowledge of the NSW Legislature: discuss concepts such as ‘Separation of Powers’ and ‘Division of Powers’; find out how laws and regulations are made; and explore the role of parliamentary committees as mechanisms of law reform.
Completing Legal Studies & the Legislature for Teachers will contribute 2 hours of NESA Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and Assessment of NSW Curriculum/EYLF addressing Standard Descriptor(s) 2.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
