Friends of the Orange Regional Gallery (FORG) are bring back ‘Hidden Treasures Art Sale'. Join us on Friday, 25 July for the opening night celebration and artwork pre-sale.

How it works:

Artists from around the regional have generously donated artworks (painting, drawings and photography) under A3 and A4 size to be sold anonymously for a flat price of $150-$100 respectively. Those who buy an artwork may walk away with a highly collected name, or an unknown emerging artist. The artist’s name is only revealed after purchasing, encouraging buyers to choose what they love.

This is our major fundraising event for 2025, where all profits raised from FORG’s Hidden Treasures go towards acquisitions for the Orange Regional Gallery.

The Opening

The Friday Opening Preview is ticketed at $30 per person, which includes champagne/wine on arrival, finger food and the first chance to purchase artworks before Day 2 of sale on Saturday, 26 July.

Frequently asked questions

After I buy the artwork, can I take it right away?

Yes! Artworks will be on display and sold on first in, first served basis.  The sale has an ‘off the wall’ method, as the work is chosen and sold it is taken down from exhibit and given to the buyer.  The artist’s name is revealed only after they have purchased the work.   

What are you fundraising for?

Friends of the Orange Regional Gallery (FORG), a not- for-profit organisation whose aim is to assist the Orange Regional Gallery in the promotion and fostering of art appreciation within the community of Orange and district. All funds raised go towards acquisitions for the Orange Regional Gallery.
