Make a date, tell your mates and bring some plates. This fun day of free activities will include a scavenger hunt, sausage sizzle, lawn games and karaoke in the park adjoining Boyd Community Hub. We encourage you to pack a picnic and make a day of it. Suitable for people of all ages, this is a great opportunity to make new friends and connect to community groups operating in the local neighbourhood. Please register your attendance to help us organise a great day for everyone.

Is the venue accessible?

Boyd Community Hub has accessible bathrooms. The park is relatively flat with paths suitable for wheelchairs and prams.

Is there food and drink available at the event?

There will be a sausage sizzle commencing at 12.30pm and slushies available. We encourage participants to bring picnic food. There are a couple of supermarkets and cafes within a short walk of the venue.

Is there shelter within the park?

There are some areas shaded by tress and the surrounding buildings. We recommend all participants bring hats and sunscreen to protect against harmful sun exposure whilst being outdoors during daylight hours.

Can I bring my dog?

Friendly, socialised dogs are very welcome - they must remain on a leash at all times. There is a small dog park nearby if your dog needs some off-leash time. Please remember to bring poop bags to clean up when necessary, so that the park stays clean for everyone.
