Our Friendmaking Social is created for YOU! Come alone and leave with friends! Make friends to tick off your bucket list with, get a house share together or just to have some gal pals in the city.
We can all agree that it can be hard in the city to create those initial connections especially in hostels or at work. This is your opportunity to make new connections with other like minded girls of a similar age to you in a lovely environment full of working holiday girls where everyone is looking to make friends and are open to conversations. 🙌🏻
What to expect:
⭐ ️ An Instagram group chat will be created 24hrs prior to the events for pre and post event Friendmaking! You can use this group chat to meet up beforehand or after the event to reconnect with girls and make your own plans!
⭐️ When you arrive you’ll have one of our lovely volunteers and friendly faces running you through the night and introducing you to other girls.
⭐️ You’ll receive a drink on arrival (beer/wine/house mixer or soft drink) to settle the nerves and a name tag (because you’ve got to be very talented to remember so many names 😉)
⭐️ An Icebreaker Games at 7:15pm which will 100% get you chatting to EVERYONE in the room. If you struggle to make connections, this game will help you come out of your comfort zone and get chatting to girls you haven’t yet spoken to that evening!
⭐️ AND a VIP area reserved just for us girls so you feel super comfortable knowing that everyone attending is looking to make friendships ❤️

What to expect? A drink on arrival and other Working Holiday Girls over 25 😍 We also have a private area reserved for Melbourne Working Holiday Girls.
How many girls will be attending? We are capping tickets at 30 girls - lots of new friends!
T&C’s:
- Arrive between 6:30-7pm for your drink on arrival
- No refunds however you can sell or transfer your ticket to someone else
- Photos will be taken at the event for promotion purposes. If you would not like to be in the pictures, please let one of the volunteers know on the evening.
