Performing:
Natalia Melnik (soprano) was born in Moscow and moved to Sydney in 2013. She is currently conducting her doctorate research at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Natalia is the founder of the “Russian For Singers” project that helps hundreds of singers from around the world explore Russian vocal music. In 2017-2019, Natalia sang the roles of Valeria in Alessandro Scarlatti’s “La Caduta De’ Decemviri”, Marcella in “Boheme a piacere”, Princess Tamara in the play “Demon”, Clara Schumann in the “Happy Birthday, Clara!”. During 2021-2024, Natalia created and performed a number of chamber concert programs, Natalia’s recordings are available on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms.
John Martin (piano) has become celebrated as a sensitive and entertaining performer, in a colourful career of great variety. As pianist and Music Director, John has worked with many stars, including David Hobson, Marina Prior, Mark Vincent, The Australian Tenors, Deborah de Graaff, Vov Dylan, Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Amelia Farrugia, Jane Rutter, Yvonne Kenny, Greta Bradman, Geoffrey Chard, Miriam Margolyes and Composer, Ann Carr Boyd. John was the department store pianist in Bruce Beresford’s movie “Ladies in Black”.
