Michael Kozok - Unmotorised Australia Crossing Presentation Information:

14 months and 14,400 km of adventure - on foot, running and sailing, with a wheelbarrow, desert and shopping cart, on a bike, scooter, skateboard, roller skates, roller skis, stilts, windsurfing and SUP, in a kayak, spring shoes and snowshoes, whatever as long there is no engine.

Hot deserts full of hunger and fear, dingo and snake attacks, accidents, spinifex, snowstorms and blizzards, humid jungle and river crossings with crocodiles. On the other hand, silence, beautiful nature, wild animals, sunrises, loneliness, peace, wonderful people. Australia at its best.

Michael Kozok, Polish adventurerer who visited over 1`50 countries and finally settled down in Sydney. Traveling by hitchhiking and public transport from one extreme end to the opposite one on all inhabited continents, discovers the beauty of slow exploring the world without using a car. In 2013 he unmotorised crossed South America, and in 2023 Australia.

The Inspire Adventure Series is a monthly event designed to inspire you through captivating presentations by adventurers who will share their outdoor experiences via multimedia slideshows. In addition to enjoying the presentation and participating in a Q&A session, there will be time to connect, chat, exchange ideas, and even find a partner for your next adventure!

We encourage you to bring children and teenagers along—we’d love to inspire them too!

Paddy Pallin is hosting nine sessions in 2025, scheduled for Thursdays each month from March through November. Snacks and drinks will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own food if you have specific dietary requirements. You’re also welcome to BYO drinks, including liquor.
