Painting Workshop for Beginners

This six-hour painting workshop is open to all levels. It is best suited to complete beginners and those who are getting back into painting after a long hiatus. While intermediate students may be familiar with many concepts that will be taught, this course can offer some challenge to improve existing painting skills.

This class will use the water-based medium gouache. We will discuss colour mixing, tonal values and put our theory into practice with a painting study of fruit and vegetables. There will be a 30-minute lunch break in the afternoon.

There will be demonstrations and one-on-one guidance throughout the classes. All required painting materials will be supplied. This is a relaxing and fun class where you will take home one small finished painting!
