Join us for a fun day dedicated to dogs. Get expert advice about your furry friend, and enjoy workshops, talks, a doggy fashion parade, pet product and information stalls.
Workshops and talks
9:30am to 10am: Beyond the Guide Dog: The diverse roles of assistance dogs
10:15am to 10:45am: Dog first aid
11am to 11:30am: How to enrich your dog’s life.
11:45am to 12.15pm: Vet’s guide to pet care: Hands-on health tips
Register separately for each session when you when you book your event ticket .
Fashion parade
Dogs will take centre stage in the parade from 12.30pm to 1pm. Dress to impress for your chance to win a hamper valued at $750. Register your pooch for the parade on your event booking form. The parade entry fee is by donation of $5 to Rotary Club of South Sydney, payable on the day.
Free microchipping
If you’re a City of Sydney resident with a valid pension, healthcare, or concession card, free dog microchipping is available for your dog. You’ll need to show your card to access this free service.
Food will be available to purchase from a food truck.
Dogs must be on-leash at all times at the event. Unvaccinated puppies can catch potentially fatal illnesses from infected dogs and the environment. To keep them safe all unvaccinated puppies attending must be carried in a pet carrier or in your arms .
