This module is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to provide effective diagnosis and treatment of early and moderate periodontal disease for your patients. The module includes practical tips on communicating periodontitis, effectively teaching patients ideal plaque control methods and hands on training to debride deep pockets. Module 1 of training will include:
- Hands on training using a model of a dentition with Periodontitis. This model is yours to keep! We will cover Airflow, Ultrasonic and Hand Instrumentation
- A day of practical training to equip Dentists and their Team to take their patients from the ‘Exam/Scale and Clean’ appointment into comprehensive periodontal care and ongoing maintenance
- Communication Techniques regarding Periodontitis
- How to Itemise treatment, Assess outcomes, Educate patients on their individual risk.
