Join us for an inspiring evening at 'Photography & the Future' where photographic artists and educators Arrayah Loynd, Alison Bennett & Vicki Bell will explore the intersection of photography, higher learning and the future.
Along side the panel discussion, we will be hosting a dialogue between student Nighty Okot, eductor Rikki Bunder, Nikon representative Julie Kimpton and Photo Collective's Harriet Tarbuck as we discuss the new world of visual communication and how photographers are adapting to these changes. We will discuss the rise of photography and video production and the ways that the industry and education are responding to these growing demands.
We will also screen two new videos produced by Photo Collective in collaboration with Collarts and Nikon Australia respectively, with converstaion to follow about how productions like these fit into the contemporary media landscape.
