Possum Drey Workshop - Crafting Homes for Wildlife

Get involved, build a possum drey, and help create safe spaces for these unique marsupials!

Join Rachel from the Leschenault Catchment Council and Youth Advisory Council Representative for a fun, hands-on and educational workshop.

Learn about the Critically Endangered Western Ringtail Possum, its habitat needs, and how you can contribute to its conservation by taking part in the annual Ringtail Tally.

Workshop includes

  • Short 20-30 minute presentation
  • Guided possum drey building

  • This workshop is supported by Bunnings.
  • All materials have been supplied by Bunnings Bunbury.
  • Open to ages 15-25 years.
  • Event is strictly alcohol, smoke and vape free.
  • Light refreshments provided.
  • It is the responsibility of the parent/ responsible adult to deliver and collect unaccompanied children under 18 years to and from this event. Unaccompanied children are to be collected from the Bunbury library foyer no later than 5.00pm.
  • After booking if you are no longer able to attend, please contact us at 9792 7062 or community@bunbury.wa.gov.au to let us know. This enables others on the waitlist to attend in your absence.
