On behalf of the UWA Defence and Security Institute, it is my pleasure to invite you to a private Roundtable Lunch discussion with Claire Young on China, Antarctica and possible futures.

Claire Young is an independent researcher on Antarctic security, following 40 year's experience in defence and strategic analysis. She is the author of the 2021 Lowy paper Antarctica: Eyes on the Prize. Highlights of her career include being the first female Australian-American Alliance Studies Fulbright scholar, a staffer for then Defence minister Beazley and defence reporter for the Financial Review.

This event is an invitation only, lunch meeting in the private dining room, The University Club of Western Australia.
