An in-depth introduction to Quality Assurance (QA) Panels under the Authorisation of Restrictive Practices in Funded Disability Services Policy (available on the Authorisation of Restrictive Practices website).

This Introductory Session is available to:

Behaviour Support Practitioners who have been confirmed suitable to practice as Behaviour Support Practitioners by the NDIS Commission
Senior Manager/Delegates on QA Panels.

It is highly recommended Senior Managers/Delegates complete an Introduction to Positive Behaviour Support session prior to commencing the QA Panels Introductory Session.

This free 3-hour interactive session will cover:

the purpose of the QA Panels
requirements and roles on QA Panels
the principles guiding the authorisation of restrictive practices
application of the principles to inform the authorisation decision
QA Panel governance
an interactive discussion of a QA Panel scenario.

The session will be facilitated via the Microsoft Teams online meeting platform.
