About this event

Our queer comedy classes are tonnes of fun and perfect for beginners!

Come along to meet new people, gain some comedy skills, and have a lot of laughs.

After the class we will go to a nearby bar for drinks (it's optional - but most people come along!)

Our classes typically have 20-30 people. About half are newcomers, and the rest are our returning regulars.

We have a community of class participants - a lot of people have been coming to our classes for months.

If you're curious, we encourage you to come along and join in the fun!

Frequently asked questions

I'm a beginner - will this be difficult?

Classes are very easy and interactive - they're designed for beginners and newcomers to comedy.

I speak English as a second language - is that okay?

Absolutely. This is Sydney, which means a sizeable cohort of people in our class are from overseas. The comedy is not based on your skill of English. This class would be suitable for anyone with intermediate English-speaking skills.

Do I have to stay for dinner and drinks afterwards?

You can go home straight away, or stick around to get to know everyone - it's very much up to you. We have a little community and if you'd like to join us afterwards to hang out, you're very welcome to.

I'd like to change my class date, is this possible?

Sure, just contact the event organiser before the class and we will do that for you. You'll get one change of date.

How many people are in each class?

There are generally 20 - 30 people in each class. Some classes can be bigger, and it's a tonne of fun!

Is there parking nearby?

There's quite a lot of parking options nearby. It is mostly paid parking.
