About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours 30 minutes

The purpose is to explore how education and service providers can collaborate to create high-quality placements for health students.

The goal is to enhance student placements in the local region as a strategy to build, attract and retain our future health workforce.

Keynote speaker and expert in the field, Gillian Nisbet, Associate Professor from University of Sydney, will present on recent work to innovate placement design.

Providers, consumers and students will also be sharing information about what makes a successful placement.

You will then collaborate and innovate with service providers, academics, students and consumers to create a new vision and practical strategy to build the capacity of the local regions to provide quality student placements.
