The Victorian Government has committed to an increase in Victoria’s renewable energy target to 50 per cent by 2030 and set a long-term target of zero net emissions by 2050.
Clean energy and storage investments are the key to meeting those targets, which require access to the world’s best practice and technologies.

Gabrielle Henry, Director, Industry Engagement and Development in the Energy Group of the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, will provide an overview of the renewable energy sector and present opportunities in large scale generation and emerging technologies.
Jonathan Filbey, Investment Director, Octopus Investments, will then discuss their experience in Victoria's solar sector. Octopus is building a portfolio of renewable energy assets in Australia and manage globally in excess of $15 billion for more than 60,000 private investors.
