Our stackable short courses enable you to choose how far and wide you take your learning, whether you want to study just one stackable short course, or string together multiple and build towards a postgraduate Deakin degree. Study online, start any time and take full control over how much or how little you study.

How you'll learn

Go at your own pace with support from your educator and fellow learners during online learning activities and discussions. Complete your course within 6 weeks, including the assessment, or take extra time and use the regular assessment submission windows to complete within 20–26 weeks of your enrolment (see image below).

Each course has a tailored assessment to successfully pass each course. Please refer to each course via our stackable short course website.

Refund policy

If your plans change, you will have 7 days from purchase to apply for a refund. We may also need to cancel for administrative reasons. If so, a full refund will be provided.

What are the Refund terms?

If your plans change, you will have 7 days from registration and payment to apply for a refund. We may also need to cancel for administrative reasons. If so, a full refund will be provided.

Can my employer sponsor my fees?

If your employer wants to sponsor your fees you can pay for fees yourself and request reimbursement from your company, you can use a company credit card for payment or if an invoice is required please contact stackablelearning@deakin.edu.au

Do I become a student of Deakin University?

You will become a microcredential learner of Deakin University. You will be enrolled, receive a Student ID and gain access to student systems and support during your study. As a part of the Deakin community, you will be required to accept the Terms&Conditions of a microcredential learner.

What discounts are available?

We offer discounted tickets for Deakin Alumni and Staff (please select 'Get tickets' for more information). We also offer discounts for group bookings. Under 'Get tickets' select and lodge an expression of interest and a Deakin team member will be in contact.

What do I need to validate my eligibility for a discount?

If you register for an Alumni or Staff discounted ticket, you'll need to provide requested details to validate (see tickets for more information). If your status cannot be validated in 7 days you will be removed from the course until you can validate or pay the outstanding amount.

Can I pay in Instalments?

Yes, PayPal offers the ability to pay over four instalments. Follow the additional prompts at payment and ensure the terms and conditions of payment are right for you.
