Respect in Action - Building Safe and Inclusive Sport

Respect in Action is a regional showcase of local and state-wide initiatives that aim to build safe and inclusive sporting communities. Join us at GMHBA Stadium and hear about new work happening across sporting clubs and regional facilities to progress gender equality and contribute to the prevention of gender-based violence in our community.

The event will introduce Sport and Recreation Victoria’s new Safe and Inclusive Sport: Preventing gender-based violence Guide, Kardinia Park Stadium Trust’s Respect at Our Stadium action plan, and launch The SAFV Centre’s Respect Starts Here videos on the important role community clubs play in preventing and responding to gender-based violence.

Enjoy a catered lunch and connect with community changemakers as we build a network of partners committed to the prevention of gender-based violence.

Entry for the event is through Legends Plaza, Gate 13, GMHBA Stadium, Kardinia Park, South Geelong. Onsite parking is accessible from Kilgour Street or La Trobe Terrace.
