Restorative Approaches in Practice Learning Settings

Welcome to our online event focusing on restorative approaches in practice learning settings! Join us for a day filled with insightful discussions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities. Whether you are a Practice Teacher, On Site Supervisor or a University Tutor in the social work and care field, this event is designed to enhance your understanding and application of restorative practices when working with struggle, failure and conflict during the Practice Learning Opportunity.

Restorative practice is a relationship-based style of practice which is firmly focused on meeting the needs of those who are in a relationship with each other, particularly when there is struggle and risk. As a practice it equally holds people accountable for the impact of their actions whilst empowering them to design solutions to their own issues in a supportive frame. In the teaching relationship, there is often struggle for competence, sometimes failure, certainly mistakes (which are rich ground for learning), and unarguably the power dynamic between educator and student presents a risk of vulnerability for both.

Don't miss out on this valuable opportunity to deepen your knowledge and connect with like-minded individuals. Register now to secure your spot!
