About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Hidden Curiosities is a new Kammerklang series championing existing, under-performed, Australian repertoire drawn from an open call for scores. Two performers pour over this collection of treasures to build their own personal dream program showcasing not just the talent of Australian composers, but their own taste, talents and stories.

Ripples and Echoes is curated and performed by Sydney double bassist Will Hansen. Featuring a tasting platter of memories and experiences, stretching from the sky to the cosmos, this one-hour solo instrumental cabaret promises a relaxed environment, good stories, and incredible local music.

Music by Declan Postlethwaite, Elissa Goodrich, Keyna Wilkins, Mark Oliveiro, Naomi Dodd, Stephen Hornby, William Varga, Zoe Gougousidis and a world premiere commissioned for Will by Kammerklang's artistic director, Cameron Lam.
