Join us at the Rockhampton Leagues Club for the Rockhampton Seniors Expo and meet face-to-face with government representatives and local organisations to find out about the services and supports for older people in your community.
The Expo will bring together experts from Cards and Concessions, The Queensland Police Service, and legal and financial service representatives to ensure seniors can get advice on:
• tips to protect yourself at home, in the community and financially.
• accessing local services and supports.
Experts in Queensland Government Seniors Card, concessions and rebates will also be on hand to ensure you are accessing all the services and discounts you are eligible for.
Registrations open at 9.00am for a 9.30am start. Hear from great speakers, chat with other attendees over a free morning tea and visit a range of government and community service stalls to access information about staying connected as you get older.
