Join us to hear about the ROSA, the ROSA OMS Report for South Australia. Discuss how to read and interpret your own individual ROSA OMS Facility Report and potential strategies for quality improvement. We would also love to hear from you about how these reports may be improved in the future.
The ROSA is an Australian Clinical Quality Registry designed to monitor and evaluate the health, service use, medication use, mortality, and other outcomes of people receiving aged care services in South Australia. Since mid-2018, every South Australian having an ACAT was introduced ROSA and their consent to access and link their aged care and health care records was obtained. Over 26,600 South Australians have been registered in ROSA between August 2018 and June 2020.
The ROSA OMS is a pragmatic and low burden quality and safety monitoring system developed by the ROSA team and collaborative partners.
The ROSA OMS 2022 Report includes information on 12 risk-adjusted quality and safety indicators of care delivered to individuals living in residential aged care facilities in South Australia. We hope the information provided by the ROSA OMS Report will support evidence-based quality and safety improvement. These reports are free and available upon request by your facility leadership.
