Run for Palestine
In this critical moment, the call to stand in solidarity with Palestine is louder and more urgent than ever. We warmly invite you, your family, and friends to join us in this meaningful cause by registering for Run for Palestine (RfP). This event not only advocates for justice but also raises essential funds to support the innocent children of Palestine who are deeply affected by the ongoing conflict.
For these children, hunger is a daily reality, and their education has been stunted by the devastation of war. Yet, despite the hardship, they still find a way to smile. Their resilience is inspiring, but they cannot do it alone—they need your help. Your participation in this event supports the incredible work of Olive Kids, an Australian charity dedicated to improving the lives of children in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Choose from two registration options: a $35 fee that includes an RfP T-shirt or a $20 fee without the T-shirt, with concessions available. Participants will walk a peaceful 4.5 km or jog/run a gentle 9 km along the beautiful Salamanca foreshore. Route maps will be provided upon registration.
After the run, we will gather in front of Princes Wharf 1, where you can enjoy refreshments, live music, and the opportunity to connect with fellow supporters and the wider Tasmanian community.
As Martin Luther King. so powerfully said, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." Imagine if these were our children—would we not act?
Together, we can make a profound difference. Join us in showing the world the compassion of the Tasmanian community. Register today and help us bring hope to the children of Palestine.
