About this event
Experience the soul awakening potential of group dance and community connection through a mindful dance movement practice. There are no steps to learn or any right or wrong way to dance. Flow through 2 hours of unravelling, rest, reflection and freedom through gently guided movement.

These sessions are open to everyone! All ages, movement abilities and genders.
Children welcome to join adults in dance, watch or play quietly. A child minder will be present to help facilitate quiet play. Parents remain responsible for their children at all times. Any children joining the dance must also be accompanied by an adult.
DRESS IN COMFORTABLE LAYERS. BYO WATER BOTTLE. Optional: yoga mat, cushion, journal.

A registration form will be forwarded upon booking or can be filled out on the day (please arrive early to do this as the session will commence on time at 3pm).

Frequently asked questions
Children are welcome to attend and will be cared for by a minder in the same venue. Children remain under the full responsibility of their parent or carer throughout the session, however quiet activities will be provided for the children to play and create with.
We recommend that you wear something that you are comfortable in and that allows you to move freely. Layers of clothing that can be adjusted to keep you body a comfortable temperature will be suitable. Grippy socks or bare feet are ideal, however shoes may be worn if needed to support your feet.
A water bottle and anything that you may use to sit or lay comfortably for a relaxation or meditation session of around 15 minutes (this might include a yoga mat, bolster, cushion and blanket. A personal journal or sketch pad is also recommended for reflection during the session.
The doors will be open from 2.45pm to allow for payment and registrations to be completed prior to commencement of the session at 3pm. This will also give time for you and children (if applicable) to settle into the space before we commence.
If you can move some or all of your body you are able to participate in these sessions and this includes people who would say that they are NOT at dancer! There are no steps to learn and with gentle guidance you will begin to tune into your own body and how it feels like moving. NO JUDGEMENT
