Course Overview

For the first part of the day, we’ll engage in getting-to-know-you exercises, brief introductions and a discussion of the workshop aims, including how participants hope to have their learning needs met.

An Overview

At the end of this lesson, people will know there is Workplace safety and the Act made to support the workplace safety.

Safety Planning

Finally, participants will then learn about safety planning and the four domains of an effective safety plan.

Types of Hazards

In this session participants will be introduced to classic hazards that are present in almost every work enviroment so as to minimize accidents and ensure the well being of the employees.

Managers Role

This session is about what the managers role and responsibility in promoting and enforcing safety standards.

Training

In this session, I will tell you the reason why the company enforcing the training to keep and improve your safety while working. I also, will know what we to prepare before we start the job training.

.Stress Management

In this workshop, participants will learn to deal with stress through changing, avoiding, accepting, relaxation and/or routines.

Workplace Violence

The definition of workplace violence, identifying and addressing workplace violence, and a workplace harassment policy will all be discussed in this session.

Identifying Your Company Hazards

With the purpose of knowing all the hazards in the workplace, this session will be attended by many company members. For the approach how to identify hazards in this session the procedure is as follows:

• Conducting an Inspection
• Prioritising Deficiencies
• Report and Following Up
• Drug & Alcohol Abuse

The objectives for this session are: To be informed of the negative impact of drug and alcohol abuse on the mind and body. Also, the people whom we could rely upon to have a drug-free workplace.

Writing the Safety Plan

When asked to identify potential hazards in their workplace, participants are then asked to move to ‘drafting a safety plan.’ Participants were then able to answer who would help to create the safety plan.

Implement the Plan

Here the core clients and their group can be brought together to focus on the safety plan developed and the people who are part of the plan.

Workshop Wrap-Up

And at the end of the course, particiapnts are invited to question and provide individual action plan.
