Discover the World of Sake

Welcome to an immersive workshop designed for sake enthusiasts and newcomers alike. This unique event is not just about learning how to make sake at home; it's an exploration of the many facets of this traditional Japanese beverage.

What to Expect

During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to:

1.Lern how to make doburoku at home: Doburoku is a sake made by combining water, rice and rice malt. Doburoku is the most simple and oldest of sake made from rice.

To be called doburoku, it must be unfiltered.

Doburoku is characterised by the sweetness and moderate acidity of the rice, its gorgeous aroma and the strange sensation of it bursting in the mouth. As the ingredients are not filtered, it is also rich in nutrients.

2.Taste a Sake: Explore difference between unfiltered sake and filtered sake. Discover the unique flavors and aromas that make each one unique.

3.Snack made with sake lees : Snacks made with sake lees by Rieko will be offered. Enjoy the depth of flavour and distinctive character of snaks made with sake lees.

4.Sake Cocktails: Discover how sake can be a creative ingredient in cocktails. Learn to mix and enjoy a new twist on traditional cocktail recipes using doburoku as a base.

This workshop promises an engaging and educational experience, allowing you to fully appreciate the art and science of sake.

Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or curious beginner, this is an opportunity to deepen your understanding and enjoyment of sake in a convivial setting.

Join us for a journey into the rich world of sake and elevate your appreciation for this timeless beverage.
