A sake tasting guided by a Japanese sommelier

Join us for Sakaya Australia’s first sake tasting in Adelaide — a relaxed, small-group event hosted in collaboration with Tsubaki.

With guidance from Certified Sake Sommelier Hisae Kuwajima, you'll explore five distinct sake styles. Three are paired with original mini dishes created by Tsubaki’s owner-chef, and two are served with a cheese platter. The pairings were developed together with attention to balance and flavour.

This is more than just a tasting—it’s a relaxed social gathering. Feel free to ask questions, share Japan travel stories, or simply enjoy good conversation over good sake.

You’ll also take home bilingual sake info cards (English & Japanese) to remember your favourites or bring on your next trip to Japan.

Included:

• 5 x 45ml pours of Japanese sake
• 3 mini dishes, each paired with a sake
• 2 contrasting sakes served with a cheese platter
• Bilingual product cards for each sake
• Conversation and insights from your host
