About this event

Join us for a special school holiday session where young artists can dive into the world of ceramics, exploring everything from ancient artifacts to contemporary creations in our exhibition, Kerameikos. Discover how potters historically made and decorated objects for both practical and decorative purposes, and how clay was used to shape their world.

Participants then will create and decorate their own clay creature to take home with them and will undertake other fun creative activities during the workshop.

Suitable for children aged 7-12.

Parental and/or guardian supervision required.

Organised by

A new museum at the University of Sydney

The Chau Chak Wing Museum will unite the University’s Nicholson, Macleay and University Art collections under one roof, with new research facilities, engaging programs for the public and learning opportunities for students.
