About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join us for an insightful evening with author Sean Wilson as he discusses his new novella, You Must Remember This with fellow author, Emily Spurr.

This beautifully written story explores memory, dementia, and family dynamics through the eyes of Grace, an older woman grappling with fading memories. A poignant reflection on the fragility of memory and the patterns of the past, this event will offer a deep dive into themes of forgetting and remembering, and how we find peace as time passes.

Sean Wilson is a writer, playwright and communications professional from Perth, Western Australia. He now lives in Melbourne with his fiancée. His debut novel, Gemini Falls, was published in 2022. You Must Remember This is his second book.

Emily Spurr is the author of two novels, A Million Things (2021) and Beatrix & Fred (2023). Originally from Tasmania, Emily lives in Melbourne with her partner, their twins and the ghost of a deaf geriatric cat.
