Self-Defence and Situational Awareness.
Damian Porter
Damian Porter, a former NZ Special Forces Operator, will take us through important elements of situational awareness, such as walking, getting in and out of a car, to and from work and home and coming to the aid of others. He will also inform us about the lawful use of force in WA law, including the implications of a violent attack physically, mentally and sexually. Bullying and low-threat attacks in bars, including come-ons and inappropriate touching will be discussed. Damian will demonstrate some close-range defence and counterattack moves, holds and grab defence and counter-attack. Join us for this practical and very relevant workshop, for self-protection, an essential skill to have ‘under your belt’!
Bio
Damian Porter currently works as a High-Performance Living Coach. He has been professionally involved in the health and wellness space for over 28 years. Damian is a career Firefighter, a Champion National Body Builder, Exercise Rehabilitation Physiologist and one of the first Personal Trainers in the world.

The story follows how the race of humans escaped and tried to survive, leading to the habitation of Earth. The story explores who we are as human beings, and what we are capable of. Joyce works as a Psychologist and Hypnotherapist in Bunbury. She completed a Transpersonal Psychology Foundation course and is the Vice President of the Australian Institute of Parapsychological Research.

Professor Hodgson worked in higher education for 35 years as a lecturer, researcher and university administrator, publishing extensively in the areas of human rights and causation law. He served as an advisor to the Australian Research Council and delivered a number of seminar presentations at the Oxford Round Table.

Martine will present the correlation between the shift in consciousness on the planet and how this is playing out in politics, finances and people’s sovereign journey. Worldwide, there has been a massive shift in the balance of power where it is evident to see what seems to be a lot of chaos is actually the restoring of the power back to the people, ending an oligarch and top-down control system. In taking full responsibility in our personal journeys everyday, the choices we make are opportunities to put into practice, our sense of empowerment.

She is a radio presenter on Edge Radio Australia her segment called ‘Martini’s Eco & Country Bite’s’ representing country, regional and isolated communities on major environmental and social issues.
