So what's a "Sewcial"?
Our language for a social meet up!
Drop in, keep your hands busy by sewing, mending, knitting, doing crochet, or simply holding a cup of tea and chatting with other like-minded creatives in our Hub space.
Sharing conversations while also being actively busy is a fun way of engaging with others and while it's great to catch-up on what's happening around town it's also a terrific atmosphere for sharing ideas, tips and tricks for keeping our clothes in use for longer.
- BYO project
- Sewing machines available for hire ($10/hr)
- Free cups of tea and bikkies(or donations also kindly accepted :0) )
- If coffee or other hot/cold beverage is more your style plenty of cafe's within a very short walking distance -closest 30 seconds away!
- Tell your friends and make this a regular catch-up instead of other common social venues
- Cost for a seat at our Sewcials is $5 - bookings available here or just pay on arrival at The ReDress Hub on the day

Shop 4, Quadrant Plaza, 94 York St, Launceston, Tasmania.
You can find us just behind Toyworld :)
Super handy access to parking in the Care CarPark next door, with great cafes close by to fuel you up incase tea is not your beverage.

What if I don't feel well?
If you have been or could have been exposed to COVID19 through travel or a close contact, please consider your attendance and or wearing a mask at the event.
If you have any symptoms and don't feel well please don't attend your workshop and get in touch with us for more details.
