Shamanic Drum Workshop in Sellicks Beach

All you need will be supplied, including a choice of hand-crafted Drum Hoops in 3 different sizes [13.5-inch, 15-inch & 17-inch], Goat Skins, a Sheepskin Beater and a care plan.

Being created with sacred intention and handmade from natural materials that were once living beings - timber from the standing ones and rawhide that was skin from the four-legged you will have a sacred tool to journey into the future with.

Space is held for you, the drum maker, to face inner complications from your life which may rise through getting tangled in the lacing of your own Medicine. This inner weaving is transformational. You have chosen an experience through which you can appreciate and then set out to understand and develop your own natural rhythms as you come to play your drum.

We will talk through the 4 elements of the Southern Hemisphere Medicine Wheel and relate that to different beats and a way to practice playing a Frame Drum – the beautiful and ancient instrument you will have made for yourself in this workshop.

You need to wear casual crafting clothes and bring your own lunch.

Tea, Coffee and a fruit platter will be provided.
