The Skill Test Eligibility

There are some people who are not required to do the Pre-Provisional Course at all, but are required to pass a Skill Test only. Some examples are people who

a) have an overseas licence

b) are returning from a period of disqualification

c) are being retested because of a previous test failure

d) aged tests.

There may be others who are eligible as well, but Fine Line cannot answer any of your questions about your eligibility to do a Skill Test Only or licencing queries. To find out if you are eligible to do the Skill Test Only without doing the Pre-Provisional training, you must contact Service NSW and they can answer your questions on this. If you are referred back to us to answer this question by Service NSW, we will refer you back to them. Service NSW are the only people able to answer your questions on your eligibility. It is your responsibility to find out whether you are eligible or not. If you complete the Skill Test Only, and find out later from Service NSW that you were ineligible, no refunds will be given for the Skill Test carried out.
