Frequently asked questions

Do I need to RSVP?

We encourage you to so we can plan for enough space, but if you decide last minute, feel free to show up!

Do I have to stay the whole event?

Up to you! You’re welcome to arrive and leave whenever suits you.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, but they must remain on leash at all times and established tracks around the lake. Also ensure they’re comfortable around other people and dogs.

Can I bring a friend or partner?

Absolutely! The more queer joy, the merrier! Feel free to invite any sapphic friends, non-binary folk, trans people and allies.

Are my kids allowed to come?

Our Creative Picnics are more suited for an older age group, however it is up to you if you decide to bring them along.

What happens if it rains?

If the weather is unpredictable leading up to the picnic, we will reschedule the event for another date and announce any changes on our socials.

What if I'm shy or don't know anyone?

No need to worry! Everyone is here to make new connections and the vibe is relaxed, welcoming and inclusive. Join in as much or as little as you’d like—everyone’s here to have a good time. Who knows what new connections you will create!

Will there be any activities or games?

Yes! We will have a range of activities to help everyone get to know each other, such as drawing prompts, queer themed icebreaker questions and who knows, some other fun surprises!
