Are you looking to improve your photography skills while exploring Hurstville? Have you signed up for our Photo Bingo Photography Competition but need a little extra inspiration? Join our Photo Walk!


This guided walk is perfect for photographers of all skill levels. Our resident photographer will be on hand to provide tips and guidance, helping you capture the best shots of the vibrant Hurstville area, covering categories found on your Photo Bingo card.


Whether you're a beginner wanting to learn the basics or an experienced photographer seeking inspiration, this Photo Walk offers something for everyone. Bring your camera, comfortable walking shoes, and a creative spirit.


Participants will have the chance to meet fellow photography enthusiasts, exchange ideas, and enhance their photographic techniques through learning. This event also offers a fantastic opportunity to capture unique images that you can submit to the Georges River Libraries’ Photo Bingo competition happening through October and November.

Age: 16+

Experience: No previous photography experience needed.

Equipment: Bring your preferred camera and comfortable walking shoes.


Addition Information

During this program, we will be walking on public paths and crossing roads. Participants are required to wear comfortable shoes and apprpriate UV protection ie, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and follow all road rules and saftey directions given by the facilitator.

  • For participants under the age of 16, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
