Join Aboriginal artist Jude Jarrett to learn about First Nations art in this holiday workshop. Jude will guide you in creating your own unique artwork, as you learn about traditional Aboriginal art and modern art, and how they can be combined to create beautiful pieces that tell a story. 

 About the Facilitator 

Jude Jarrett is a proud Gumbaynggirr woman from Bowraville, who uses a mixture of traditional Aboriginal methods and modern colours and media to create art. She uses her art to tell stories and share her understanding of her culture.

Age: 5-12 years 

Experience: No experience required 

Equipment: All materials provided 

Spaces are limited so bookings are essential.

Bookings:

This program is being repeated at multiple locations over the duration of the school holidays. Due to the popularity of our programs, please book for one location only. Customers who book for multiple locations will be advised that their spot will be allocated to customers on the waitlist.

Terms and conditions:

  • For participants under the age of 16, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
  • The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
