Somatic Recalibration and Resilience Training

Welcome to our three day in-person training, where you will learn techniques to recalibrate your body's reactive patterns to stress and trauma and build the foundations for a new way of connecting, relating and being.

Join us for a transformative experience focusing on somatic and expressive practices that help you reconnect with your body and enhance your overall well-being.

Through a series of mini-classes and immersive exercises, you will discover how to release tension, improve posture, gain confidence and cultivate a sense of inner strength.

This training is designed for anyone looking to deepen their mind-body connection and develop tools for navigating life's challenges with a greater sense of ease.

This course centres itself around authentic expression, storytelling, heart felt connections and memories that last a lifetime. It is perfect for body workers, yoga teachers, s*x and intimacy coaches and manual therapists. You will receive a certificate of attendance if you choose to claim professional development points.

The pivotal weekend is a safe entry into somatic work, if you are up for the deeply rewarding challenge. Presentations will be delivered via a series of theory components and practical work to embody our understanding of human biology and relating.

Accommodation is available on-site. Spaces are limited; please see the add-on options upon registration. We will try our best to accommodate everybody. The house has six bedrooms and sleeps 15 people; private and shared rooms can be reserved with your booking. Linens are included; however, you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

The open-plan living area and modern kitchen create a fun-filled appeal for the whole group to enjoy. Cafes and shopping centres are nearby to ensure you are adequately nourished throughout the weekend.

Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, just 600m to the beach! Spend each morning watching the sunrise, welcoming in your intentions for the day - and each evening enjoying the sunset, paying gratitude for the wisdom shared and lessons learned. The house also has a private pool if you choose to have a swim in our lunchbreaks!

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring?

You should bring a notebook and pen, as well as food and water for each day. Remember to pack layers to adjust for temperature changes; you may get warm during activities. There is a pool, so pack your swimmers, sunscreen and a towel!

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the event (less Eventbrite fees). Please get in touch with the Organiser with as much notice as possible so they can help make arrangements for anybody on the waitlist who may wish to take your place.

What are the payment options?

GA and accomodation tickets available via Eventbrite. Pay a $200 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot. Refer a friend a you will both receive $100 off the cost of your ticket! Please contact the organisers if you would like a payment plan. Full payment is required before the event.

What if there isn't an accomodation option that works for me?

Please contact the organisers. If you'd like to stay, special requests cannot be guaranteed, but the organisers will do their best to meet your needs. You can always make a special request after your registration is complete!

What's included in the registration price?

General Admission fees cover the cost of your three-day in-person training. Certificates of attendance will be emailed after the event to claim professional development points. Accommodation costs are an optional add-on.

What age groups can I expect at this event?

Our events are open to people aged 18 to 60. Everybody has wisdom to share, and we value diverse perspectives.

Is this event wheelchair accessible?

Balanced Membranes will always aim to make their events inclusive; however, this may depend on venue availability. Please get in touch with the organiser to confirm accessibility prior to event registration.

What are the accomodation options?

The house has private and semi-private rooms for those travelling long distances or prefer to remain in the training container for the full weekend. Private rooms have double beds for couples, and semi-private rooms have bunk beds and king-size single options. Accommodation is for two nights.

Your director, Dr. Jenelle Tupek possesses a strong foundation in healthcare, holding a Balchelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Science and Human Movement and another in Health Science with a major in Osteopathic Studies. Building on these qualifications she earned a Master’s degree in Osteopathic Medicine, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the neuromusculoskeletal system and integrative health care.

Her commitment to advancing her expertise is evident in her current pursuit of a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health and Neuroscience, showcasing a dedication to expanding knowledge in both physical and mental well-being. With over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, she brings a wealth of practical insights and a nuanced approach to client care.

She holds further certifications in trauma informed care, clinical Pilates, and elite sports performance.

As an AHPRA registered professional, she adheres to high standards of practice ensuring quality and ethical care in the delivery of health services. Her diverse educational background, extensive industry experience, and ongoing commitment to professional development, positions her as a well-rounded and highly qualified practitioner in the allied health and wellness coaching space.
