Elegant & Exclusive

They are calling this elegant and exclusive. There are18 spirits distillers pouring 70+ different drinks. We are selling a maximum of 200 tickets per session. All sessions are two hours. $125 includes all drinks and all food.

Spirits & Bites re-imagines the traditional festival, offering an exclusive setting where guests can savour continuously roving canapés while discovering premium spirits from Australia and around the world. This is not just an event - it’s an experience tailored for connoisseurs, serious buyers and those wishing to learn more about spirits.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Sydney’s iconic harbour, Spirits & Bites is in Manjit's Restaurant in the Barangroo Precinct. All food and drinks are included in the price of the ticket. Bottles are available for take home purchases in your free designer carry bag. Purchase bottles directly from the distillers. Dress: a little bit fancy.

Lark Single Malt Whisky; Prohibition Liquor; 7000 Island Drinks; Hickson House; Ester Distilling; Husk Rum and Hugo Vodka served with a bump of Caviar with every bottle purchased.

Tempura garlic prawns, mini samosas, chicken and beef skewers, fresh made live naan bread and dips, lamb kababs, mini arancinis, seafood cocktail cups, mini pork dumplings, sesame prawn toast.

Frequently asked questions

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket grants you entry to the tasting session specified on your ticket and includes a branded polysafe tasting cup and non-woven tote bag for take-home purchases. All spirit tastings and continuous finger foods are included in the ticket cost over the 2 hour tasting session.

How many drinks can I sample?

There is no limit to the amount of drinks you can sample however we highly suggest that you pace yourself over the 2 hour tasting session. The distillers will pour a small sample of liquor into your tasting glass and you can either add your own Long Rays mixer or sample it neat.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes, you can give your ticket to whoever you like. There is no need to change the name on the ticket. You will not be refused entry if you are not the person named on the ticket however they will still be required to check in with the ticket.

Will there be food?

Yes, there will be a variety of finger food options available throughout the tasting session and most dietary requirements will be catered for. All food is included in the ticket cost. Please check the event page about food options for this event.

Are bottles available for purchase?

Yes you may buy bottles of liquor directly from the distillers to enjoy at home. Strictly no bottles are to be opened and consumed at the festival.

Will other drinks be available?

Water, tonic and soda are included in the ticket and will be available during the tasting sessions.

Do you accept EFTPOS?

Card is preferred for purchases at the event. All distillers will accept EFTPOS payments.

My partner doesn't drink and will be driving

Sorry, as this event has food that is fully catered for they will need to purchase a ticket for the event regardless.

Can I get a refund?

Sorry there are no refunds for the Spirits & Bites event (because of food, catering and venue hire) so please purchase your tickets wisely. If you can no longer attend, you may give or sell your ticket to another person. Tickets are fully transferable for the same session on the scheduled day.

The AGDA promotes Australian craft gin distillers in several ways. We manage the annual Australian Gin Awards and a number of public events across Australia and also Auckland New Zealand. We encourage the education of gin drinkers by including master classes in the events and promoting the fact that attendees at the festivals can have discussions with the distillers to learn more about the product and how to drink responsibly.
